Fitz and the Tantrums with ZZ Ward - Drive-In at the Ventura Fairgrounds
Live from the the comfort of your vehicle...
Pop-up Drive-Ins are hot, hot hot! Who would have thought that people would venture from their homes and pay money for a old movie they’ve already seen, that they have on DVD or could stream at home to watch in their cars! And THEY said, streaming would take over and theaters are dead! Guess what? The events are selling out way in advance! So it’s not surprising that the opportunity to see live music from your car has been greeted with incredible enthusiasm!

One Night Only: Nick Cave!
“IDIOT PRAYER: Nick Cave Alone at Alexandra Palace” is a film shot in June that will
be streamed as a live experience in North America on July 23rd at 7 PM Pacific Time.
Unlike many virtual concerts, it will not be available for online viewing after the event. It
is truly a “live” experience: no pause, rewind or fast forward. LOL, somehow it sounds
shocking in this age of video streaming, but hey, you don’t go to a real live concert and
have rewind!
The stream is billed as only one showing but there are actually three to
choose from to make it convenient for viewers from different parts of the world. So, if 7
PM doesn’t work for you you could go for 8 PM AEST (Australia and Asia) or 8PM BST
(UK and Europe).

The big question in my mind is: Who will win “Artist of the Year?” There’s some tough competition in this category!

American business has been hit hard during the pandemic. Small businesses have been especially impacted. Small businesses are not just stores, services and restaurants, they are members of their community and are in need of support.
Musical artists are coming together to bring you “Small Business Live,” a one-day musical experience to raise money for the Accion Opportunity Fund. The fund provides grants to at-risk small businesses hit hardest by COVID-19, with a focus on those run by women and people of color.
