Across the Great Divide Benefit Concert – October 19 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel
Nashville-based Americana Music Association and the Memphis-based Blues Foundation have teamed up to present a benefit concert starring some of Americana and blues most iconic artists. Joining the lineup are Americana and rock legends John Prine, Bob Weir, Lucinda Williams and Lee Ann Womack. Electric blues greats Shemekia Copeland, Doyle Bramhall II and Joe Louis Walker. Plus, up and coming blues-rock sister duo Larkin Poe and Tash Neal of The London Souls are slated to perform. The benefit collaboration reflects the long history between the two foundations and their mutual goal to preserve and disseminate American roots music and its traditions. Across the Great Divide benefit concert will be held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on October 19.
David Crosby – November 10 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza & November 13 at the City National Grove of Anaheim
Just announced, a coast-to-coast United States tour for David Crosby & Friends along with a new solo album set to release this fall. Crosby will make his way to Southern California on November 10, performing at the Fred Kavli Theater at the Tousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and November 13 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash founding member will be supported by his Lighthouse Band also featured on the upcoming album. The follow up to Crosby’s 2017 Sky Trails is set for release this fall and will be his forth solo album. The tour will kick off November 2 in Seattle and run through December 8 in Port Chester, New York.

Phoebe Bridgers & Julien Baker with Lucy Dacus – November 30 at The Wiltern
The trio of LA favorite Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus announced this week the formation of their indie-rock project Boygenius. On Tuesday the group released three tracks from the upcoming self-titled EP, anticipated to come out on November 9. Although all three singer-songwriters will be touring together they will be as solo artists rather than Boygenius. The final show of their fall tour will be at The Wiltern on November 30.
