Nic Harcourt spent months in 1994 lining up local bands, juggling schedules, and helping to pull off what many thought impossible: Woodstock ’94, a three-day music festival marking the 25th anniversary of the music festival that changed the world.Thirty years later, Harcourt and co-host/producer Jet, celebrated Generation X’s Woodstock during the 9 a.m. hour from Aug. 12 - 14, 2024 by playing music from the bands who appeared at the 1994 festival that took place on Winston Farm, Saugerties in upstate New York.Nic said: “Woodstock ’94 was and remains a highlight of my career — from being involved in early Saugerties Chamber of Commerce meetings in support of the festival, to helping select the local bands who kicked the whole thing off, and then being on air live from a “Magic Bus” studio on site throughout the show,” said Harcourt, who was live on air throughout the festival live on Radio Woodstock. “It was a magical experience.”Nic Harcourt & James frontman Tim Booth at Woodstock 94.
