Matthew Houck, better known by his moniker Phosphorescent, is back after taking a 5 year hiatus. He took his life experiences of that time, including a marriage, a child, and a move from New York to Nashville, to serve as inspiration for a new set of songs on C'est La Vie, out on October 5th. Houck built Spirit Sound Studios specifically for this album. Our first taste is "New Birth In New England", which is an upbeat track with a sound you could hear a Dispatch or Guster playing.
