Real Estate has released their sixth album titled “Daniel” and they join middays host and SoCal Sound Music Director Julie Slater for a chat!

Celebrating 15 years as a band, the band current members are: Martin Courtney (vocals, guitar), Alex Bleeker (bass, vocals), Matt Kallman (keyboards), Julian Lynch (guitar), and Sammi Niss (drums).

When talking about titling the album “Daniel” during the interview with Julie, Bassist/Singer Alex Bleeker explains “I think the truth for us is sometimes I feel like each one of us will have a different answer for who Daniel is. Sometimes I think there's truly not an answer for who Daniel is. Sometimes I think where it's perplexed and bewildered and kind of, like in love with it, in this enigmatic way as anyone else. Like we just felt it, you know, choosing an album title for this band is always difficult. We were all together while we were recording the album before was even done. We were like, what if we gave it a proper name? Like Actually name it like a child or a pet, you know? And the name Daniel”
